The Origin of Chemical Trends in Dwarf Spheroidal Galaxies
Sarah Loebman (Univ. of Washington)

We use subhalos in high resolution cosmological simulations of L* galaxies to study the origin of chemical trends in dwarf spheroidal galaxies. We limit our study to those that have resolved star formation histories, restricting us to comparisons of the more massive dSphs (e.g., Fornax, etc). We investigate trends as a function of radius, exploring the origin and evolution of gradients. Finally, we make predictions for what observational studies should observe beyond a few core radii.
