Coupled SYK models without Schwartzian dominance
Alexey Milekhin, UCSB

I argue that in a wide class of coupled SYK models the reparametrizations are governed by a non-local action rather than Schwartzian. I will present a partial analytical and extensive numerical evidence for this. These models have exactly the same zero-temperature entropy and maximal chaos exponent as the original SYK. However, when arranged into a chain, the transport coefficients turn out to be different.
