We follow up the discovery of Segue 1 (Belokurov et al. 2007) searching for extra-tidal stars around the object using the available SDSS DR 6 photometry. We use a color-magnitude selection method to identify stars that may be part of Segue 1 and its tidal features and find significant extra tidal material around Segue 1. We consider implications of this finding for the classification of Segue 1 as either a globular cluster or a dwarf galaxy.
